About us
Welcome to the newly formed Ottawa West Little League, a community-based, volunteer-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to providing both House and Competitive level baseball for boys and girls (aged 4 to 18), as well as coaching, umpiring and other volunteer opportunities for community members of all ages. We focus on developing in our players the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being through the game of baseball.
OWLL is part of the worldwide Little League program which is governed by Little League International. Little League Canada is one of its regions. OWLL plays in Ontario District 2 along with teams from Kanata and Barrhaven (East Nepean).
Registration for OWLL programs is open to children that live or go to school within the boundaries shown in this map.
We recognize that today's children have more opportunities than ever when it comes to that they do in their spare time, and we offer a program that reflects their changing interests as they grow. OWLL offers:
-
ability- and age-appropriate play (through streamed baseball in spring);
-
a range of clinics/programs for players to develop their baseball IQ and skills.
-
competitive play in summer for those who are ready for it; and
-
an opportunity each year to represent your District in the Provincial championships, Canadian championships, and International Little League World Series.
It takes the involvement of many people to provide our baseball programs. Please take some time to look at the volunteer opportunities available by viewing the OWLL organization chart. Contact anyone on the Executive to get involved!
Your opinion matters! Please let us know if you have constructive suggestions on how to improve our league. Any of our Executive members would be happy to hear from you.
