Our History
Ottawa West Little League was formed when Carlingwood-Frank Ryan and Pinecrest Little Leagues merged in 2014 but our history actually goes back to the 1950's!
Our history starts in 1957, when Carlingwood Little League was first chartered. Britannia Little League formed shortly after in 1962. Two years later, in 1964, Pinecrest Little League was first chartered.
In 1971, Britannia Little League was renamed at Frank Ryan Park Little League. Carlingwood and Frank Ryan Park Little Leagues merged in 1987 to become Carlingwood Frank-Ryan Little League.
In 2013, Carlingwood-Frank Ryan and Pinecrest Little Leagues started discussions to merge and in 2014, Ottawa West Little League was formed!
